New to Gifted Education? Build Your Foundation with Confidence

Join our asynchronous professional development series designed for educators and professionals who are new to gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) learners.

Over the course of this flexible cohort experience, participants will explore essential topics including:

  • Foundations of gifted education

  • Legal responsibilities (GIEPs vs. IEPs)

  • Identification and characteristics of gifted & 2e learners

  • Differentiation strategies for advanced learners

  • Social-emotional needs and asynchronous development

Program Dates: July 1 – December 1, 2026

Live Capstone Discussion: Monday, December 14 | 4:00–5:00 PM (EST)
Format: Fully asynchronous (learn at your own pace)

Earn 20 Hours of Professional Development

  • Pennsylvania educators: Act 48 hours reported directly to PDE

  • Out-of-state participants: Certificate of completion provided
